Nico, Noah, and I had the pleasure of attending this year’s Bb. Pilipinas Fashion Show, which was held at the Kia Theatre yesterday evening.
With Director Raymond Villanueva
With my beautiful seat mate, Arienne Calingo
With my beautiful friends Pat Fernandez and Arielle Arida
For the first part of the show, the girl’s worked the runway in their Jag outfits.
Rogelie, Janicel, and Christi opening the show
Vina had to be one of the best binibinis walking the runway for the first half of the show. Her energetic entrance and electric vibes definitely helped her stand out. Great performance!
The second part was the presentation of the national costumes. They got pretty creative this year! One girl had a rooster on top of her, one had a a pot on her head, another was covered in feathers! Here are some of my favorites…
Kylie graced the runway in her Rajo Laurel jumpsuit dress! She looked like a Victoria Secret model up there!
Fun fact: her dress contains over 100,000 small beads!
Binibini 11 worked the runway in this beautiful blue and white gown!
Binibini 16 was a figure of elegance in this beautiful white gown!
Dindi’s walk caught my eye. Unlike the other candidates, she walked slowly and somewhat dramatically. Her walk, with the help of her dress, elongated her legs. She did a awesome job on the runway!
Binibini 38 in a stunning gown by Bessie Besana!
I love the details of this dress by Frederick Peralta!
