It was an eventful week for the Birthday boy. First highlight of the festivities was a special treat dinner for two at Paparazzi, Edsa Shangri – la Hotel. Being greeted by the beautiful Ms Aimee Lagman.
As we walked in the beautiful ‘Frozen’ inspired hotel lobby, Aimee was sharing with us the must trys at Paparazzi. We were excited with all the dishes and even more overwhelmed when we saw the menu.
The restaurant was so picture friendly we could not help but capture our time there. Their wine selection was amazing too, we are definitely coming back.
We decided to start with “Caciucco” seafood for Nic and minestrone soups for me.
The main course we went for the “Costata, Wagyu beef rib eye” and “Risotto di mare” seafood risotto. It was definitely a feast for a King. Even the bone was displayed to show how big the steak actually was. Great table setting I must say.
Aimee said not to miss out on the desert so I made sure I made room for it. I picked “Tortina” Chocolate lava cake with stracciatella ice cream. It was amazing!!! Nic said he would share with me because he was so full from the main course. To our surprise Aimee and the Paparazzi staff did not allow Nic to miss out, when my desert was placed in front of me beautiful voices followed singing “Happy Birthday” with another plate of desert.
Thank you again Aimee and Paparazzi for the amazing Birthday memory for my hubby. We love the food, ambience and the beautiful company of the staff. Definitely a romantic way of spending a night with your loved one.
