My husband Nic Belasco and I awarding some special prizes to the student of Philippine National School of the Blind.

About three years ago, Team Belasco was invited to the annual Christmas party of the Philippine National School of the Blind by my good fried Mark Lico. We met the talented students, played games with them, and had an amazing time putting smiles on their faces. We’ve gone to their Christmas party every year since.

The Philippine National School of the Blind is under the James Mackay Foundation, a non profit organization mission and vision is to make the Philippines a better place. Headed by James Mackay, the founder and head of Mackay Green Energy Inc., who is also supplying job opportunities for the indigenous people of the Philippines.

This year we have partnered up with the respected Zoomanity group, for their yearly ‘Dinner in the Dark’ event.

Ever wonder what it would be like to be blind? Get a chance to open your eyes with their “dark” condition at a special dinner event called “Dinner in the Dark” by Zoomanity Group.

This great cause will give you a unique experience of dining in total darkness and understand how it is to be blind.

Zoomanity Group one of the leading companies in the park industry with James Mackay Foundation, will host series of “Dinner in the Dark” for the benefit of the National Philippine School of the Blind

and  Zoomanity’s Animal Welfare and Breeding Program. This exceptional event will create awareness amongst us what it is like to lose our sense of sight and appreciate it even more.
