Miss Taguig 2016

IMG_2131

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of passing my knowledge on to the candidates of Miss Taguig 2016. I shared tips on expressing yourself with confidence and respect. We had practiced the proper way to shake hands, how to formal greet, and who does what when you first meet someone.

This was my first time in heels since I gave birth, so after a while I had to take a seat. My legs were killing!

After learning the proper way to shake each other’s hands, we moved onto how to make small talk. After all, first impressions can go a long way.

Next, my partner Erica and I had the girls play the game “Die In Ten Seconds”. This was a fun game wherein the girls were paired up, and had to come up with a unique death scene without planning in ten seconds. Probably the funniest game there is! Really brought the girls out of their shells.

After, we had the girls in groups. They were tasked to write a speech as if they were running for mayor of Taguig. IMG_2362

All in all it was a fun and productive day. I really enjoyed teaching all you girls, and I hope you go on and use what you’ve learned, because it can get you far in life. Good luck, girls!
